Ayuntamiento de Álora

The purpose takes the promenade as a resource capable of bringing in the surroundings and writing a narrative that links the rugged landscape to the history. In this way the chronological time is claimed as a project material.

Identity of the place is supported looking for unique historical features. Thus, the round path of the city wall becomes a sightseeing walk where crop, natural and archaeological fields are overlapped.

Local limestone slates is the only material used in the project, which comes from Valle del Guadalhorce. Hence, traditional construction techniques and building components are recovered and make urban floors, cant and walls.
