It recognizes the topography of the Risco de San Juan tearing down elements which distorted the compound over the years.

In this light, a powerful platform is discovered thanks to a way that comes down from San Juan church. This enables us to clarify the core of the massive urban block where the building is situated and generates a meeting public space.

This new square ends the voids sequence distributed throw the built mass of the old hospital, whose lead role is meant to be emphasized as trasit and meeting places.
